Ahhh, Sweet Magnolias.… My new favorite TV series. I revisited an old receipt from my apothecary and decided to share it with my Breezy fam (bio below). First you need to learn about the ingredients:

Mucuna pruriens is a leguminous vine that has naturalized itself throughout the entire world thanks to its near indestructible sea-faring beans. These beans act as a powerful physical & mental tonic which have gained respect as a medicinal food-herb in not only the Ayurvedic system of medicine but also in South American Shamanic rituals & other herbal based healing systems. Mucuna pruriens contains a wide variety of nutrients & neurotransmitters, strengthening the body & mind while tonifying the adrenal & endorphin systems. Mucuna contains a high concentration of the compound ‘L-Dopa’ which is a direct precursor to the neurotransmitter dopamine.

Polygala tenuifolia is a root used in traditional Chinese medicine for its ability to improve memory and protect against cognitive ailments. Limited human evidence suggests Polygala tenuifolia cannot improve memory, but may improve spatial awareness and organization.

What I have done is combine all of the ingredients above to make my own unique daily tonic mixture for my overall health and wellbeing. This is separate to my kratom and/or shilijit dosing; and adds a very special and powerful roller coaster of benefits in and of itself.

I make a small tonic (which is something you shoot back like a shot), or you can do the smoothie version which is easier on the tastebuds.

Tonic version
  • I use a small mason jar or baby food jar.
  • Use the mentioned recommended dose per each ingredient and mix into the jar.

You can pick up a gram spoon on Amazon if you don’t have one.

Smoothie Version
  • Grab a pint jar
  • Grab a blender
  • Throw in the above ingredients/measurements
  • Add juice of choice (I recommend OJ)
  • Add a tablespoon of Vanilla yogurt
  • Blend and drink. Add more yogurt to taste.

By taking the combination, within 10 minutes, I feel very much alert and mentally motivated and positive. I live with chronic pain, nerve damage, which results in a dragging body that is weak and slow. Upon taking this, all that changes. My back pain lessens, my chronic pain seems to numb up just a bit to make me be quicker and flexible. Doing daily yoga helps me keep limber and taking this mixture helps to motivate me as well as give me the ability to do those moves without being tightened up, stiff and sore. I feel better overall, which is a big thing with people living in pain all day.

I HIGHLY recommend this mixture for yourself. Taking it for a consist week will definitely prove itself. You will notice a massive difference within that timeframe.
